China’s surprising decision will no longer quarantine foreign travelers

Beijing: Dec 27, In a surprising decision amid the chaos of the Corona virus, China has changed the quarantine rules for travelers coming from abroad. According to the report, travelers coming from abroad will not be quarantined from January 8. Since 2020, China had set a rule to quarantine foreign travelers, but now this rule has been changed. However, passengers will have to undergo a corona test before coming to China.

The test report does not have to be submitted to the Chinese Embassy. Rather, only the test report has to be shown before boarding the flight. It should be clear that currently passengers coming from outside China are being kept in hotels for 5 days and self-isolation for 3 days, which will end on January 8. China has made a new strategy to deal with the corona virus and now put the corona virus in the class B category. In China, less serious diseases such as dengue fever are placed in this category. Not only this, in China now the corona virus will not be called pneumonia but infection. According to the National Health Commission, this change has been made in view of the current risk level of the disease. Earlier, since 2020, China had placed the corona virus in the Class A category. At that time, strict restrictions were imposed after the corona cases came to light. The affected persons were kept in quarantine. Lockdown was done due to increase in corona cases but now it will not be done under B category. In China, the decision means that only essential treatment and prevention of infection will now be emphasized
